When presented with Stephen Kandel’s script, Director Marc Daniels knew that he had a problem: how were they going to get all of those androids to appear on screen at the same time? Twins were the answer to a great deal of it, but when the time came to show up to six at the same time, the production team used split screen technology to great effect. Even now, it’s remarkable how seamless the scenes with groups of Barbaras and Alices appear.
With each passing day, I inch closer to this man’s greatness.
Or at least I keep telling myself that.
